PORTRAITS

My first post will have to do with portraits. I love portraits of people. I love to wonder what they are thinking, what their lives have been like, and I'm just a general people watcher. These 2 images were taken at a Photowalking event in SLC, Utah that I'm a member of. Although I haven't been able to attend all of their events, it is always a pleasure to go and gain knowledge from all of the other photographers there.
These 2 girls were models at the event and I must say very beautiful young ladies.
I am split with what I prefer, black and white or color. I choose the black and white image for this young lady because of her black hair and dark eyes. She has gorgeous hair and a wonderful smile.
The image was shot using just one beauty dish above her and to camera left while she held a silver reflector under her face about chest high. I believe the settings were ISO 100, Tv, 200 and f11.0
The second image was chosen to be color because of her beautiful eyes and stunning hair color. She is a beautiful young lady as well. This shot was taken with just natural window light and some above ambient light.
Settings were ISO 800, f2.8 set for aperture priority.
